Set Up ConnectNetwork and AdvancePay for Florida DOC: Account Creation, Funding, and Unblocking
Setting up ConnectNetwork and AdvancePay is usually quick, but small details can trip you up. Follow the steps below to get your account created, funded, and ready for calls.
When you create your ConnectNetwork account, enter your first and last name exactly as they appear on your government-issued photo ID. Your profile may need to match official visitation records for security purposes. Even a small mismatch can cause problems down the line, so double-check before you submit.
After you submit your account setup, check your email for a confirmation message and click the activation link inside it. You won't be able to use your account until you do. No email in your inbox? Check your spam or junk folder.
AdvancePay is ConnectNetwork's prepaid calling service for family and friends. You add money to your phone number, and your incarcerated loved one uses that prepaid balance when they call you. It's a straightforward way to control spending, since calls draw from a set amount tied to your number.
Funding Check Moneyorder
- ✓ Write your 10-digit telephone number on the check or money order. That telephone number is also your account number.
- ✓ Do not leave the telephone number off. Payments received without a telephone number cannot be posted to an account.
Paying by check or money order? Plan ahead. It can take 7 to 10 business days for your payment to post to your AdvancePay account, so send it early if you want to avoid missed calls.
For billing help or account support with AdvancePay, call the customer service line at (866) 732-9098. You can also manage your account and review details on the ConnectNetwork website (ConnectNetwork.com).
- Confirm who the phone number is listed to. The unblock request has to be made by the person the number is listed to.
- Call AdvancePay customer service at (866) 732-9098. Use the same number you would for general account help.
- Ask for a representative and request the unblock. You will need to speak with a customer service representative to unblock a number.
Notice: AdvancePay payments may be subject to fees, and terms can change without notice. Before you pay, check the current details on ConnectNetwork.
