Legal & Confidential Visits at Tehama County Jail — Who’s Allowed and How Clergy Get Approved

Attorneys can request unlimited legal or confidential visits at Tehama County Jail. This is separate from regular social visitation. It's designed for private, professional communication when someone's case is active or legal help is needed.

Probation and parole officers also qualify for unlimited legal or confidential visits. If you're a supervising officer meeting with someone in custody for official reasons, the jail treats that as a professional visit.

Medical and mental health staff can request unlimited confidential visits too. These fall under the same professional access category, giving clinical providers the ability to meet with someone in custody as needed.

Clergy can have unlimited confidential visits, but only after the jail approves them. If you're a minister, chaplain, pastor, or other faith leader, you'll need to complete the approval process first. Once approved, you can schedule confidential visits under the clergy category.

Unlimited legal or confidential visits at Tehama County Jail are permitted seven days a week, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. These hours apply to attorneys, probation/parole officers, medical or mental health staff, and approved clergy.
