Planning an all‑day visit at Topeka Correctional Facility: how to book two time slots the same day

Start with the online scheduler. Topeka's in-person visits must be booked through ICSolutions at www.icsolutions.com. Don't wait until the last minute - scheduling closes 72 hours before visitation begins for that week. Plan a trip too close to the weekend, and you might find yourself locked out of booking entirely. Log in and confirm openings before you travel.

Warning: If the online scheduler shows all slots filled, don’t travel to the facility - you won’t be allowed to visit.

KDOC lets you build an all-day visit by booking two time slots on the same day. Reserve one slot, then grab the second for that same date - as long as availability remains.

This isn't the same as booking across an entire weekend. You can't sign up for multiple days on the same weekend - the two-slot option extends a single day, not stacks separate ones.

Planning an all‑day visit at Topeka Correctional Facility: how to book two time slots the same day
  1. Go to the ICSolutions scheduler - Use www.icsolutions.com, since in-person visits must be scheduled there.
  2. Find Topeka Correctional Facility - Select the facility so you’re looking at Topeka’s available visitation appointments.
  3. Pick your visit date - Choose the day you want to visit.
  4. Book the first time slot - Reserve one available slot for that date.
  5. Book the second time slot (same day) - If it’s available, reserve the second slot on that same date to create an all‑day visit.
  • Schedule at least 72 hours before visitation begins for that week (scheduling closes 72 hours prior).
  • Make sure you’re an approved visitor and you have a scheduled appointment (either through the online scheduler or by contacting the facility visitation clerk).
  • Bring government-issued photo ID for check-in.
  • For visitors under 16 who don’t have photo ID, bring a copy of an official state-issued birth certificate instead.

Tip: Check the scheduler again before you leave home. If all slots are filled, you won’t be admitted even if you make the drive.

At Topeka (like other KDOC adult facilities), there are two visitation slots per day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Booking both is what turns a regular visit into an all‑day visit window.

Admission depends on two things: approval and an appointment. Only approved visitors who've scheduled through the online system (or contacted the facility visitation clerk) get in. Bring your government-issued photo ID for check-in - or a birth certificate for visitors under 16. If you've booked both slots, follow staff instructions for transitioning between your morning and afternoon appointments.
