What happens if you miss or don’t cancel a scheduled visit at Topeka Correctional Facility

1. Go back to the online visitation scheduler - Visits are scheduled through the ICSolutions online scheduler (www.icsolutions.com), and cancellations are handled there too.
2. Find your scheduled appointment - Pull up the visit you already booked so you’re working with the correct date and time.
3. Record your cancellation - Use the scheduler to record that you’re canceling the visit.
4. Keep the timing rule in mind - Scheduling closes 72 hours before visitation begins at the facility for that week, so don’t wait until the last second to deal with changes.

A no-show - missing without canceling - can get your visitation privileges suspended. If there's any chance you won't make it, cancel through the scheduler. The facility keeps records, and you don't want to risk losing future visits.

Last Minute

• ✓ Cancel in the online visitation scheduler as soon as you know you can’t make it, and record the cancellation there.
• ✓ If you’re running late instead of missing the visit completely, still go - the facility will make every effort to allow you and the resident to visit for the remaining portion of the scheduled visit.

Can't access the online scheduler? Call the visitation clerk at 785-559-5100 for help. One more thing: if the scheduler shows all slots are filled, don't show up anyway. You won't be allowed to visit without a confirmed slot.
