What to Expect & a Checklist for Onsite Visits at Travis County Correctional Complex (TCCC)

Onsite visitation at Travis County Correctional Complex (TCCC) takes place at 3614 Bill Price Rd., Del Valle, TX 78617. Visit slots run Wednesday through Sunday (excluding county holidays), with times available between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, and you’re allowed two visits per week total (face-to-face or onsite video).

Plan ahead before you drive out. Face-to-face visits at TCCC must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance through ViaPath Technologies Travis County Visitation Scheduling. For onsite video visits, you can schedule the same way - or just use the kiosk in the TCCC Visitation Center when you arrive.

  • Keep your group size within limits: only two visitors are allowed in the face-to-face visitation area (up to three if a child under 12 is included).
  • Bring a parent or guardian if you’re visiting with anyone under 17 - minors must be accompanied.
  • Make sure everyone age 17 and older has a government-issued photo ID.
  1. Arrive at least 30 minutes early - this gives you enough time to check in and still be ready when your visit period starts.
  2. Finish check-in before the cutoff - check-in ends 15 minutes before your scheduled visit. Late check-ins aren’t accepted.
  3. Wait in the central lobby for staff direction - you’ll stay in the central lobby until visitation staff advises you to go into your assigned booth.

Face-to-face visitation at TCCC is non-contact - you'll visit from a booth, not an open room. Wait in the central lobby until staff escorts you to your assigned booth. No outside food or beverages allowed. When your time is up, exit promptly so staff can keep the schedule moving.

Show up late and you might not get in at all. Check-in closes 15 minutes before your scheduled start time - no exceptions. If you miss that window, your visit gets cancelled and you'll need to register for a new slot.
