How to Schedule Your Trenton Visit: Using the GTL Scheduler and the 15-Hour Rule

Same-day visits aren't an option at Trenton. You need to book at least 15 hours in advance through the GTL scheduler. Plan ahead - especially if you're traveling on a weekend or coordinating with other family members.

Visits run in two-hour blocks, with scheduling available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pick a slot you can realistically make - you'll need time to arrive and complete check-in without rushing.

You'll use the GTL/SCDC visitation scheduler site to book, change, or review visits. First-time users need to create an account before selecting a date and time. Once you're set up, you can manage all your upcoming visits from one place.

Slots are limited. General population inmates with visitation privileges can receive up to four in-person visits per month - so popular times fill up fast.

There's also a pacing rule: one in-person visit per weekend. That weekend visit counts toward your monthly total of four. If you're planning the month out, spread visits across different weekends and track how many you've used.
