Trinity River visiting hours and rules: what to expect during an in-person visit

In-person visits at Trinity River Conservation Camp run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each incarcerated person can have up to five approved visitors at a time, so plan your group accordingly.

Note: Fire crew members can be activated on short notice, which can affect visiting. Call or email the camp for updates before you travel.

Weekend visits aren't scheduled through the VSA online system. Instead, contact the camp directly by phone or email. You can schedule a Saturday or Sunday visit anytime Monday through Friday during the week before.

Before your visit, do a quick self-screen - you'll need to be free of COVID-19 symptoms. No vaccination proof or test results required.

Tip: Masks aren’t required for visitors, but they’re encouraged. If you want to wear one during your visit, masks will be made available.

Anyone in medical isolation won't be eligible for visits. When you call or email to schedule, ask whether your person is currently eligible - it'll save you a wasted trip.
