Send Photos & Mail at Trinity River Conservation Camp

How to send messages, photos, and packages

Overview

Trinity River Conservation Camp has switched from ViaPath to Securus as part of CDCR's new statewide telecommunications contract awarded February 21, 2025. Fire Camps have completed the transition, and people in custody at Trinity River will exchange their ViaPath tablets for new Securus tablets during the device swap. Audio calls from standard institution wall phones and tablets remain free. The free video allotment changed with the switch: ViaPath provided 15 minutes every two weeks, while Securus provides 30 minutes per month (per-minute video rates also differ between providers). For leftover ViaPath balances, families can request refunds through the ViaPath call center; inmate balances are refunded to trust accounts automatically. To schedule web-based video sessions through Securus, families need to open an account and register for AdvanceConnect/Video Connect.
