Getting Approved to Visit at Tyrrell Work Farm: Visitor Application, ID, and Visitor Limits
Before visiting Tyrrell Work Farm, you need to be on the approved visitor list and have an appointment scheduled. There's also a firm limit on how many people can be approved per inmate.
You can't just show up at Tyrrell Work Farm and expect to get in. Facility staff must approve your visitor application before any visit can happen. Even after approval, visits are by appointment only. There's also a cap on how many people can be approved for each offender - so get your application right the first time.
Approval is the gatekeeper here. Even immediate family can't visit until the facility approves a completed application. No approval means no visit. Plan ahead - don't wait until the week you want to come.
Being approved doesn't mean you can walk in anytime. Tyrrell Work Farm requires appointments, so you'll still need to schedule a time slot.

- Schedule your visit appointment - call or email the prison where the person is housed to set up the appointment.
- Treat every visit as appointment-only - if you don’t have an appointment, you should expect to be turned away.

Visitor limit: Each offender at Tyrrell Work Farm can have 18 approved visitors total - adults and minors combined.
