How to Send Food Packages Through Union Supply to a GDC Prison
If your loved one is in a Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) facility that accepts Union Supply food packages, the ordering process is pretty simple. You just need to know where to send the order and what limits apply.
GDC allows Union Supply food packages for people incarcerated in State Prisons, Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), and Probation Detention Centers. Approved family and friends can place orders through Union Supply, as long as you stay within the program's limits and deadlines.
To order by mail, send your completed order form to: Union Supply 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421 P.O. Box 619059 Dallas, TX 75261-9059.
You can also order by phone at 1-562-361-5719, or use the toll-free number: 1-855-247-0563.
Prefer fax? Send your order to 1-310-603-1188.
Tip: If you are ordering by mail or fax, use the official order form from the GDC package information page so you are picking from items that are approved for delivery.
For someone in a GDC State Prison or ITF, the package limit is $100 or 15 lbs. per person, whichever you hit first.
For someone in a Probation Detention Center, the limit drops to $50 or 7 lbs. per person, whichever comes first.
If multiple people place orders for the same person, those orders get combined into a single package. The combined package still has to stay within the spending and weight caps for that facility type.
Union Supply charges $2.95 for shipping and handling on all orders. That fee is non-refundable.
Deadline warning: Orders received after the program deadline will not be accepted.
Before you place an order by mail, fax, or phone, check the current program deadline and factor in delivery time. Late orders won't be accepted.
