How to Send Money to Facility

When someone is admitted into custody, any cash collected during intake goes into their individual trust account. This is the same account you'll add money to later, so all deposits flow to one place.

Trust account funds are used for commissary purchases, which is how your loved one buys approved items while in custody. The facility also notes that trust account money may be applied toward self-bonding, so in some cases a deposit could help cover that cost if it applies.

Note: Fees, deposit limits, and kiosk hours aren't covered here. Before sending money, verify any current costs or restrictions directly with the facility or TouchPay.

How to Send Money to Facility

S2

  • Use TouchPay to deposit funds into an inmate trust account. Deposits are available seven days a week.
  1. Go to the lobby kiosk - Cash must be deposited directly at a lobby kiosk.
  2. Enter the inmate’s identifying information - Use the inmate’s name and jail number so the deposit lands in the correct trust account.
  3. Complete the cash deposit at the kiosk - Follow the kiosk prompts to finish the transaction.

Tip: For electronic payments, use TouchPay and have facility number 233101 plus the inmate's name and jail number ready. Paying in cash? Plan to use the lobby kiosk.

S3

  • Any current TouchPay fees and deposit limits
  • The payment types TouchPay currently accepts for deposits
  • Whether the facility number for deposits is still 233101
  • The inmate information you should use (name format and jail number)
  • Lobby kiosk hours and any kiosk-specific limits for cash deposits
  • Whether self-bonding is currently permitted and what conditions apply

Friends and family can make deposits seven days a week through TouchPay. You'll need facility number 233101 along with the inmate's name and jail number. Still, it's smart to confirm those details are current before you submit a deposit, especially if you're sending money for the first time or working from older paperwork.
