Visitation at Tygart Valley Regional Jail is scheduled and non-contact. Hours are Tuesday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Each visit lasts 30 minutes, and inmates can receive one visit per month. To schedule, inmates submit TVRJ Form 5-0029 (Request for Scheduled Visitation) to the Visitation OA between 8:00 a.m. Monday and noon Thursday of the prior week, listing all visitors. Each visit allows either one adult with two minor children, or two adults. Adults must sign the logbook, show valid government-issued photo ID, and complete search screening. Bringing drugs, alcohol, or weapons is a felony and can lead to arrest.
