Electronic messages run 50 credits each (about $0.50), and inmates get two free messages every Saturday. You can also leave a voicemail for $1.00 by calling 863-400-5993—just follow the prompts. Plan ahead: no refunds for missed visits. If your internet drops during a session, you may not be able to reconnect, and you won't get that time back.

Duffield routes regular inmate mail through Smart Communications. Send personal letters and photos to the facility-specific Smart P.O. Box in Seminole, FL—not the jail's street address. Every item must include the inmate's full name and official ID number on the outside, or it gets returned. Here's the catch: incoming paper mail is scanned for electronic delivery, then the originals are destroyed. Don't send anything irreplaceable.
