- ✓ Weekend visits: request cutoff is 5:00 PM on Wednesday of the same week
- ✓ State-holiday visits: request cutoff is 5:00 PM, three days before the holiday
These cutoffs matter. If you're planning a weekend or state holiday visit, submit your request through the GDC scheduled-visit form before the deadline. Miss it, and you'll have to wait another week.
Visits can be denied or revoked. GDC will refuse or suspend visitation if a visitor is suspected of introducing contraband or provides false information on any visitation form. Privileges can also be suspended for facility security reasons.
Warning: Be completely honest on every form and follow all rules. False information or contraband concerns can get your visit denied or your privileges revoked.
