Sending Food Packages to Someone at Valdosta: Rules, Limits, and How to Order

Families and friends can order pre-approved food packages for offenders at Valdosta State Prison through Union Supply. You won't be putting together your own box. Instead, you choose from an approved item list, which helps prevent packages from being rejected for containing unapproved food.
For Valdosta State Prison, GDC sets a maximum of $100 per offender or 15 lbs. per package, whichever limit you hit first. A package can be under $100 but still get rejected if it weighs more than 15 lbs. Or it can weigh less than 15 lbs. but exceed the $100 cap. Check both the total cost and total weight before submitting your order.
Note: Probation Detention Centers have a different cap: $50 per offender or 7 lbs. per package (whichever comes first).
