How to Schedule Your First Visit at Volusia County Correctional Facility (Daytona Beach)
Scheduling your first visit comes down to having the right info and showing up on time. Follow these steps to book through ICSolutions and avoid the most common reasons visits get denied.
Before booking, you'll need the inmate's 6-digit booking number. Volusia County requires it to set up your appointment. The fastest way to find it is through the Inmate Information Search Page.
Double-check that everyone in your group has proper ID. Adults 18 and older need photo identification showing their date of birth - student IDs won't work, and anything that looks altered will be refused. Kids under 18 also need identification: a state-issued ID, birth certificate, custody papers, adoption papers, or proof they're a ward of the court.

Timing matters. You must book at least 24 hours ahead and finalize your appointment by 9 p.m. the night before your visit. Planning further out? You can schedule up to two weeks in advance.
Each booking is for one session only, so pick a time you can actually make. The facility doesn't allow the same person to hold multiple advance appointments. There's also a daily cap on the inmate's end: one visiting session per day, Tuesday through Saturday.
Party size and reentry: Up to two people and two small children may visit at one time, and everyone has to arrive together. If you leave, the visit is considered over - no reentry.
On your visit day, check in at the Video Visitation Building at 1300A Red John Drive. Arrive early - you need to check in at least ten minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals are one of the most common reasons visits get turned away. Once your session starts, you won't be allowed into the Visitation Center.
