All visits at Wake County Detention Center must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance - don't wait until the day you want to come. One thing to know before you make plans: visitation is video-only at the facility on 3301 Hammond Road in Raleigh.

  • Scheduling hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Special-visit scheduling time frame: Monday through Friday

Regular visiting hours run Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m. No visits on county holidays. Special visits are held at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
