Can You Attend Walker County Justice Court Hearings Remotely? (Phone & Zoom Guide)
  1. Dial in - Call (346) 248-7299.
  2. Enter the Meeting ID - When prompted, enter 592 584 2348 to join the Justice Court Precinct One hearing.

Note: The phone option is for people who don't have reliable internet but still need to attend or listen to the hearing.

The court also uses Zoom for remote hearings. You'll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access. If you're going to speak on camera - not just watch - make sure your device has a working microphone and camera so you can be heard and seen when called on.

  • Update the Zoom app (or your browser) before the hearing starts
  • Test your microphone and speakers so you can hear and respond clearly
  • Check your camera angle and lighting if you’ll be on video
  • Use a steady internet connection (Wi‑Fi is usually better than a weak cellular signal)
  • Find a quiet place and keep background noise to a minimum

Planning to present exhibits during your remote hearing? Email them to the court at jp1@co.walker.tx.us by 3pm the day before. Send documents in PDF format. Miss the deadline, and your exhibits may not be considered.

  • Put the full case/cause number in the email subject line (and label whether they’re plaintiff or defendant exhibits)

No recording: Video and/or audio recording of remote court proceedings is prohibited.

Before joining, turn off any screen-recording tools - including built-in phone or computer features. If family members are listening with you, make sure everyone knows the rule so no one accidentally hits record.
