How Phone Calls Work at Ware County Jail: Account Setup, Rates, and Rules

Phone calls from Ware County Jail go through Securus. You can set up a pre-paid collect account or a direct-bill account on their website, or call 1-800-844-6591. If you want things working fast, calling is often the quickest way to confirm you're funding the right account type for your number.

Securus charges $0.06 per minute for local calls. A 25-minute local call runs $1.50. That 25-minute figure is useful for budgeting since it's the standard maximum call length at most jails.

Securus caps pre-paid collect deposits at $200.00 per transaction. Need to add more? You'll have to split it into separate deposits. Keep an eye on your balance so calls don't get cut off unexpectedly.

Note: Calls may be monitored and recorded. Call forwarding and three-way calling are not permitted.

Each call maxes out at 25 minutes - the system ends it automatically when time's up, regardless of your balance. There's another catch: calls only go through to numbers on the offender's Call Allow List. If your phone isn't on that list yet, you won't receive calls until it's added.

Calls not going through? Balance looking off? Contact Securus support first. You can manage your account online or call 1-800-844-6591. Double-check the funding rules too - remember the $200.00 deposit cap - to make sure your payment went through or if you need to split it into multiple transactions.
