Sending Food Packages to Ware County Jail: Union Supply Rules and Limits

The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) partners with Union Supply for food package deliveries to inmates at State Prisons, Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), and Probation Detention Centers. If your loved one is housed at one of these GDC facility types, Union Supply is the only approved way to send them a food package.

Section 2 How to Order Overview

  • Order by mail: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421 P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.
  • Order by phone (local): 1-562-361-5719
  • Order by phone (toll-free): 1-855-247-0563
  • Order by fax: 1-310-603-1188

Plan for an extra $2.95 shipping and handling charge on every Union Supply order. That shipping and handling fee is non-refundable.

For inmates at GDC State Prisons and Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), packages are capped at $100 or 15 lbs. - whichever you hit first. So if your cart is under $100 but the package weighs 15 lbs., you've reached the limit. Same goes if you hit $100 before reaching the weight cap.

For inmates at GDC Probation Detention Centers, the limits are tighter: $50 or 7 lbs. per package, whichever comes first. Watch both the dollar amount and weight as you shop - hitting either one maxes out your package.

Deadline warning: Union Supply won't accept orders received after the cutoff date. Give yourself extra time to make sure your order arrives before the deadline.
