How to Schedule Your First Video Visit at Washington County Correctional (PA)
Your first video visit comes down to getting your ICSolutions account set up, approved, and then booking within the allowed window.
Quick Checklist
- ✓ Create your ICSolutions account first - you’ll need it before you can schedule a video visit.
- ✓ Have a valid government-issued photo ID ready if you’re over 16 (driver’s license, Department of Transportation ID, or other government photo ID). No exceptions.
- ✓ Make sure you’re on the inmate’s approved visitor list - if your name isn’t on it, you won’t be admitted.
- ✓ Expect a wait for approval: after you create your ICSolutions account, facility staff must approve it before you can schedule.
- ✓ Plan your device ahead of time: one facility source says offsite visits can’t currently be done on an iPhone, but ICSolutions says iOS visits work through the “ICS Mobile” app.
- ✓ If you can, have a backup device ready and test early so you’re not troubleshooting at visit time.
- ✓ For scheduling or registration problems, call IC Solutions Video Support at 1 (888) 646-9437.
- ✓ Don’t call the jail for help with scheduling or registering.
Before you can schedule a video visit at Washington County Correctional, you'll need an ICSolutions account. Head to the ICSolutions website to register, and save your login info somewhere easy to find - you'll need it when booking time comes.
Take your time during registration. A misspelled name or wrong phone number can delay your approval and push back your first visit.
Creating the account is just step one. Facility staff must approve it before you can schedule anything, so don't wait until the last minute to register.
Washington County Correctional requires staff approval after you register. If you've made an account but can't seem to schedule, approval is usually the missing piece.
On the inside, the incarcerated person should check the Visitation Kiosk daily. The Inmate Portal shows who's scheduled and lets them cancel a visit if needed.
Tip: Build in time for approval. You can’t schedule until facility staff approves your ICSolutions account.
According to the facility, visits can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance but no later than 24 hours beforehand. That means same-day or next-day visits usually aren't possible if you're inside that 24-hour cutoff.
Here's a catch: ICSolutions/The Visitor guidance says visits must be booked at least 24 hours ahead but only up to one week in advance. That doesn't match the facility's "up to 2 weeks" window, so availability may differ from what you expect.
Note: Since the scheduling window is described two different ways (up to 2 weeks vs. up to 1 week), go by what the ICSolutions calendar actually shows when you book.
Device choice matters. The facility's video visitation info states that offsite visits cannot currently be done on an iPhone.
However, the ICSolutions/The Visitor page for Washington County says video visits can be done on any iOS device using the "ICS Mobile" app from the Apple App Store (search "ICSolutions").
Tip: Planning to use an iPhone or iPad? Install the ICS Mobile app and test it well before your visit. If possible, keep a Windows computer or Android phone as backup in case iPhone access doesn't work.
Having trouble registering or scheduling? Contact IC Solutions Video Support at 1 (888) 646-9437. The facility specifically asks that you not call the jail for scheduling or registration issues.
