Washington County Correctional has cut off three categories of mailed items on specific dates. Photographs stopped being accepted effective 4/23/2019. Personal clothing sent through the mail (T-shirts, socks, bras, underwear, and similar items) stopped being accepted effective 1/15/2021. Reading material, including books and magazines, stopped being accepted as of 3/12/2021.

Items mailed after the cutoff dates will be rejected. Reading material postmarked after Friday March 12, 2021, for example, gets returned to the sender.
