Before Your First Onsite Visit: What to Bring to Washington County Justice Center
Your first onsite video visit goes smoother when you show up with the right ID, dress within the rules, and arrive ready to set up your kiosk account. Use this checklist to avoid delays at the Washington County Justice Center.
Onsite video visitation is offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Washington County Justice Center, 108 West Jackson Blvd., Jonesborough, TN 37659. Plan to arrive during those hours so you have time to check in and get set up before your appointment.

- ✓ Driver’s license (current or expired)
- ✓ Any picture ID issued by a city, county, state, or government agency
- ✓ Your ID ready to show when you arrive (you’ll be asked for it at check-in)
Your photo ID isn't just a formality - you'll need it to set up your visit. Every onsite visitor creates an account at one of the Justice Center kiosks when they arrive. That kiosk account is how you'll schedule your visits going forward.
- Arrive at the Justice Center with your photo ID - you’ll need it to get started.
- Create your account at one of the kiosks provided - each onsite visitor must set up their own kiosk account when they arrive.
- Schedule your visit using that kiosk account - once your account is created, you’ll have the option to schedule visit(s).
Visitors must be 18 or older for onsite video visitation. Minors can still attend, but an adult must accompany them.
- ✓ Maximum group size per onsite video visitation session: two (2) adults and two (2) children

- ✓ Be fully dressed in appropriate clothing
- ✓ Skip sheer/transparent, net, or mesh materials
- ✓ Avoid clothing that exposes your stomach, back, shoulders, chest, midriff, or underarms
If you can’t make a scheduled onsite visit, cancel as soon as possible. Use the cancellation link in your confirmation email, or call 423-753-1701.
