How to Send a Food Package to Someone at Washington State Prison (Union Supply)

Washington State Prison participates in the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) food package program through Union Supply. You can't mail food directly to the prison - instead, you'll order from Union Supply's pre-approved catalog, and they'll ship it to your loved one.

The program is designed for approved family and friends to order on an incarcerated person's behalf. When ordering for someone at Washington State Prison, use Union Supply's statewide program options and stick to items on the approved order form.

Ordering Methods Overview

  • Online - Order online through the Georgia Inmate Package program (order forms are also available for download there).
  • By mail - Send your completed order to Union Supply’s Dallas, Texas mailing address.
  • By phone - Call Union Supply to place the order by phone.
  • By fax - Fax in your order using the Union Supply fax number.

For mail orders, send to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059. You can also order by phone at 1-562-361-5719 (or toll-free at 1-855-247-0563), or fax your order to 1-310-603-1188.

GDC caps Union Supply food packages at $100 per person or 15 pounds - whichever you hit first. If your cart reaches $100 before 15 pounds, you're done at $100. Hit 15 pounds before $100? You'll need to remove items, even if you're under budget.

Heads up: If you place multiple Union Supply orders for the same offender, they’ll be consolidated into one package - and the combined package still can’t exceed the $100/15 lb limits.

Every Union Supply order includes a $2.95 shipping and handling fee. It's non-refundable, so double-check your order before submitting.

Deadline rule: Union Supply orders received after the program deadline won’t be accepted, so don’t wait until the last day to place or mail your order.

Washington State Prison uses the GDC State Prison program through Union Supply, but it's worth confirming you have the right vendor for your loved one's location. Some facilities are exceptions - Riverbend Private Prison in Georgia, for example, still uses Access Securepak until further notice. Always verify you're ordering through the correct program with the current approved item list.
