Sending Food Packages to Washington State Prison: What You Can Order and How

For Washington State Prison (GA), the Georgia Department of Corrections uses Union Supply to handle food package orders. They deliver to people at State Prisons, Integrated Treatment Facilities (ITFs), and Probation Detention Centers. Not just anyone can order - only approved family and friends can place orders through Union Supply.

Stick to the official order form and you won't have to guess what's allowed. The form lists every item pre-approved by the Georgia Department of Corrections, so there's no risk of ordering something that gets rejected. Download the forms from the Georgia Inmate Package website - you'll use them whether you order online, by mail, phone, or fax.

To order online, grab the downloadable Union Supply order forms from the Georgia Inmate Package website. These forms are built around the GDC-approved item list, so your order stays within what the facility will accept.

Prefer mail? Send your Union Supply order to: Union Supply, 2500 Regent Blvd Dept. 421, P.O. Box 619059, Dallas, TX 75261-9059.

You can order by phone too. Call 1-562-361-5719, or use the toll-free line at 1-855-247-0563.

For fax orders, send to 1-310-603-1188.

Before you finalize, check the limits. GDC sets both a spending cap and a weight cap - whichever you hit first applies. For State Prisons and ITFs: $100 per offender or 15 lbs. per package. For Probation Detention Centers: $50 per offender or 7 lbs. per package.

Here's something that catches people off guard: if multiple orders are placed for the same person, Union Supply combines them into one package. That combined package still has to stay under the same spending and weight limits. Splitting items across separate orders won't get you around the cap.

Budget for shipping. Union Supply charges $2.95 for shipping and handling on all orders, and that fee is non-refundable.

Deadline reminder: Any Union Supply food package orders received after the program deadline will not be accepted.
