How to Send Mail, Photos, and Books to Someone at Waupaca County Jail
Sending mail to someone in jail should be simple, but small details can get items rejected. Follow these rules to make sure your letter, photos, or books get through screening at Waupaca County Jail.
Address your envelope to Waupaca County Jail, 1402 E. Royalton Street, Waupaca, WI 54981. Include the inmate's full name - without it, staff may not be able to match the mail to the right person.
Every letter needs a return address, or it won't be accepted. Keep things plain: drawings, stickers, or heavy perfume on the envelope or pages can get your mail returned or held in the inmate's property bag until release.

Heads up: Mail that breaks the rules - stickers, perfume, prohibited items like clippings or internet printouts, or anything sent as a package - may be returned to you or held in the inmate's property bag until release.
Want to send reading material? Waupaca County Jail allows softcover books shipped directly from publishers or websites (as of 08/01/23). Hardcovers aren't accepted. Stick to appropriate content so your book doesn't get rejected during screening.
