Waupun Correctional Institution, WI

In-person visitation at Waupun Correctional Institution runs Monday through Friday in two daily blocks: 2:45pm to 5:15pm and 5:45pm to 8:15pm. Each visit can last up to two and one-half hours. People incarcerated at Waupun get five in-person visits per month, with a maximum of two per week. All visits must be scheduled through ICSolutions no sooner than 48 hours and no later than 14 days before the visit date. Up to four approved visitors can attend, and at least one must be an adult. If you're 16 or older, bring a valid photo ID. You'll go through security screening, including a metal detector. If you fail the metal detector three times, staff can deny entry.

Waupun Correctional Institution (WCI) currently lists two video visits per month for a person in DOC care. Each visit runs 50 minutes and is shown as free at this time. WCI also publishes weekend and holiday video-visit schedules with multiple 50-minute sessions available. You schedule video visits through ICSolutions, and your account details must exactly match the information on your approved Wisconsin DOC visitor application. One thing to be aware of: a separate Wisconsin DOC enhanced video visitation policy states each person in DOC care may receive one free video visit per week, with additional paid 25-minute visits available for $2.50 each. Waupun Correctional Institution uses Access Corrections for inmate fund deposits. To mail a deposit instead, send it to Secure Deposits, Wisconsin DOC, P.O. Box 12486, St. Louis. Use a money order or cashier's check only. Gift cards, cash, and personal checks are not accepted and will be returned. For commissary and specialty package purchases, orders go through approved vendors and are capped at $150 per resident, per vendor, each quarter. There's also a $20 minimum per order. When depositing through Access Corrections, have the resident's full name and ID ready and follow the vendor's steps so the money posts correctly.
