How Waupun's New Visiting Schedule Works (effective Aug 4, 2025)
Waupun Correctional Institution is rolling out a new visiting schedule on Monday, August 4, 2025. Here's what's changing for both in-person and video visits.
Starting Monday, August 4, 2025, Waupun is expanding visiting opportunities in two key ways. In-person visits jump from two per week to three. Video visits - previously weekends only - will now be available seven days a week, with dedicated weekday time blocks and more flexible scheduling on weekends and holidays.

You'll now be able to visit in person up to three times per week instead of two.

- ✓ Monday through Friday: 5:45pm–8:15pm
Video visits are expanding to seven days a week. If you've only had weekend options before, this is a real shift - weekday slots can make it much easier to fit a call around work, school, or travel schedules.
- Choose the 2:30pm–3:20pm slot - this is the first weekday video visit window.
- Choose the 3:30pm–4:20pm slot - another afternoon option on Monday through Friday.
- Choose the 6:00pm–6:50pm slot - an evening window.
- Choose the 7:00pm–7:50pm slot - another evening option.
- Choose the 8:00pm–8:50pm slot - the latest weekday video visit window.
- ✓ Weekend and holiday video visits can be scheduled from 8:00am–8:00pm.
- ✓ Unlike weekdays (which use specific time blocks), weekends/holidays use this wider scheduling window.
