How to Request a Refund for Chirper (InmateSales) Funds — Wayne County Jail

Chirper funds at Wayne County Jail can't be transferred to another person or repurposed. To get your money back, you'll need to request a refund directly from InmateSales - the vendor behind Chirper.

Your Transaction ID is the confirmation number you received after completing your purchase. Every transaction gets its own unique number, so even if you've bought Chirper funds multiple times, each purchase has a separate confirmation number.

1. Open the InmateSales app - use the same login you used when you made the purchase.
2. Go to your account/profile - look for your account area (often labeled “Profile” or “Account”).
3. Find your transaction/confirmation details - the Transaction ID is located in your account profile in the app.

You can also find your Transaction ID by logging into your account on the InmateSales website. Look for it in your account or profile section, then copy it exactly as shown.
