Public in-person visitation runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you're working around a job or school pickups, this weekday window is your main option.

Saturday visits are available from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Weekend slots fill up fast, so lock in your appointment before making the drive.

No Sunday visits: Weber County Jail is closed to public visitation on Sundays.

Visits are appointment-only. You'll need to schedule at least one day in advance - showing up without an appointment is the quickest way to waste a trip.

  • Schedule your appointment in the jail lobby
  • Schedule your appointment online through Securus

Visit time is limited. Inmates get one or two video visits per week (depending on classification), and each visit runs 25 minutes. If you're coordinating with other family members, keep that weekly cap in mind so no one accidentally books a slot that can't be used.

Need to handle scheduling in person? The jail's visitation page lists these lobby hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The lobby is closed on Sundays.

Here's where it gets confusing: the inmate services page lists slightly different hours. It says the lobby (jail kiosk) is open 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day except holidays and Sundays, closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Heads-up: Because the jail publishes two different lobby-hour descriptions, double-check the current hours (and your appointment details) before you travel.

Best Practices Before You Go

  • Confirm you have an appointment scheduled for the correct day and time (appointments must be made at least one day ahead)
  • If you’re scheduling in person, go during posted lobby hours so you’re not turned away at the window
  • Give yourself extra time to arrive so a late check-in doesn’t cost you the visit

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. The jail accepts state, military, tribal, or other government identification for adult visitors.

For online scheduling, Weber County Jail uses Securus. Booking online is usually the simplest path - just make sure to do it at least a day before your visit.

The day before your visit, double-check the jail's posted visitation info and confirm your appointment. This step matters more here than at most facilities - the jail lists two different sets of lobby hours in different places, and you don't want to show up when the lobby is actually closed.

If anything doesn’t line up: When the published lobby hours conflict or you’re unsure which schedule applies, call the facility before you drive over.
