How to Visit Facility

NENMCF offers a two-day in-person visit option: two hours on the first day, two hours on the second. The days must be consecutive (Monday and Tuesday, for example), and the same visitors need to attend both days. These are barrier visits, meaning they're non-contact by default. The one exception is for immediate family. Even then, contact is only allowed if you've already provided proof of kinship.

In-person visits run Monday through Friday only. No weekends. You'll also need to schedule at least one week in advance, so plan accordingly.

1. Make sure everyone who plans to go is approved: every visitor must be on the inmate’s current approved visitation list.
2. Pick your visit dates: in-person visits are Monday through Friday. If you are using the two-day option, choose consecutive weekdays and keep the visitor group the same on both days.
3. Schedule at least a week out: set your visit up at least one week in advance so you are within the required scheduling window.

Before you make the trip, call the facility to confirm a few things. Make sure in-person visits are still running Monday through Friday and still require at least one week of lead time. Ask whether the two-day, two-hours-each-day option is available for your preferred dates. Double-check that everyone in your group is on the inmate's current approved visitation list.
