Western Tidewater Jail gives you 30 days after release to pay your balance in full - unless you arrange a payment plan before you leave. If paying everything within 30 days isn't realistic, handle it upfront rather than waiting for the deadline to pass.
Warning: Miss the 30-day window and the jail can send your debt to collections. Other consequences may follow, including tax refund withholding or legal action.
To pick up your inmate account balance after release, head to the Administration Office in the Main Lobby. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:45 pm (closed on holidays and during special events).
