William P. Clemens Unit limits trust fund deposits to approved senders only. Since September 1, 2020, you can deposit money only if you're on the inmate's Approved Visitation List or Inmate Telephone List. Using eCommDirect or a similar vendor option? You still need to be an approved sender, which means being on one of those lists and registering your phone with Securus. Cash and personal checks aren't accepted—they'll be returned. Mailing a money order or cashier's check? Include the deposit slip the inmate provides. Don't send trust fund deposits to the facility address, and don't mix personal mail with trust fund items. Trust Fund staff can confirm whether a deposit was received, but they won't share balances or transaction details with anyone except the inmate.
