A Personal Allowed Numbers (PAN) list is exactly what it sounds like: the phone numbers your loved one is allowed to call. At Huron Valley, prisoners can have up to 20 numbers on their list. Once those numbers are set, calls only go through to contacts on that list - so picking the right numbers and keeping them current really matters.

PAN lists reset automatically every quarter - on 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1. That's the built-in window for your loved one to update their calling list. They can add new numbers, drop old ones, or swap contacts to make sure the right people stay reachable.
