What to Bring (and Leave Behind) for Your First Visit to Worcester County Jail
Your first visit goes much smoother when you show up with the right ID and almost nothing else. Worcester County Jail is strict about what passes through entrance screening—plan to store nearly everything before you go in.
Bring a current, government-issued photo ID - a driver's license or passport works. Staff will check it at the entrance, and if your ID is expired or unacceptable, you'll be turned away.

Coin-operated lockers are available in the visitors' lobby for your belongings. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office isn't responsible for lost or stolen items, so leave valuables at home if you can.
You'll pass through a metal detector before entering - similar to airport security. Clear the detector, and you're good to go.
If you don't clear the metal detector: You'll be directed to a waiting area and processed through individually before you can re-enter.

- Sign in and complete the “Request to Visit Inmate Form” - this is required when you arrive.
