How to Put Money on an Inmate's Account at Yellowstone County Detention Facility

The COMMUNICATIONS account is separate from commissary. It covers phone time, extra video visits, and electronic messages. To fund this account, use www.ncic.com - that way the money lands in the right place.

To add money to the TRUST (commissary) account online, head to https://team3.Inmatecanteen.com and follow the prompts.

Prefer to pay in person? Use the Blue Kiosk in the facility lobby. It's a convenient option if you're already there for a visit.

To fund the COMMUNICATIONS account online, go to www.ncic.com. Double-check you're depositing here - not into commissary - if your goal is calls or video visits.

You can also add funds by phone at 1-800-943-2189. One thing to know: that number won't work if dialed from the inmate phone system. If your loved one needs to reach Customer Service/Billing, they'll need to call 1-800-943-2189 directly.
