What you can (and can’t) bring to a visit at Monroe Detention Center
Monroe Detention Center keeps things simple: bring your ID, one car key, and nothing else. Leave everything secured in your vehicle so you can breeze through check-in without getting turned away.
You'll need a valid United States government-issued photo ID or a valid passport to check in. Show up without one, and you won't be allowed in.
Only two things are allowed inside with you: your ID and a single car key. That's it. Leave everything else at home or locked in your car.
Time check: Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled visiting time. Late arrivals get cancelled, no exceptions.
