Source: The times listed below are taken from the official Young County Jail visitation schedule page.

Every slot runs exactly 20 minutes - Segs 1–5 from 8:00a to 8:20a, S-1 from 9:00a to 9:20a, E-3 from 11:00a to 11:20a. The consistency helps with planning, but it also means timing matters. Show up late and you may miss the entire window.

Examples of the 20-minute pattern: Segs 1–5 (8:00a–8:20a), S-1 (9:00a–9:20a), and E-3 (11:00a–11:20a).

Tuesday morning kicks off with the Segs units. Segs 1–5 run from 8:00a to 8:20a, then Segs 6–11 follow from 8:30a to 8:50a.

Next up are the S-units, in order: S-1 is 9:00a to 9:20a, S-2 is 9:30a to 9:50a, S-3 is 10:00a to 10:20a, and S-4 is 10:30a to 10:50a.

Late morning brings the E-units: E-3 is 11:00a to 11:20a, and E-4 is 11:30a to 11:50a.

Tuesday afternoon moves to the W-units. W-1 is 1:00p to 1:20p. W-4 and W-5 share the 1:30p to 1:50p slot. W-6 is 2:00p to 2:20p, and W-2, W-3, and W-7 share the 2:30p to 2:50p slot.

Later in the afternoon, the M-units are up: M-1 is 3:00p to 3:20p, while M-2 and M-3 share the 3:30p to 3:50p slot.

The schedule continues with E-1 from 4:00p to 4:20p and E-2 from 4:30p to 4:50p. Evening slots include T-1 County from 6:30p to 6:50p, then T-1 City from 7:00p to 7:20p.

Reminder: Each unit’s time listed here comes directly from the county’s posted visitation schedule - double-check the official schedule if you think your loved one’s housing unit has changed.

Young County Jail — Quick Visitation Reference (Tuesday & Saturday by housing unit)

There's also a Saturday visitation schedule. If Saturday works better for you, use the county's Saturday listing the same way - match the housing unit name to the posted time slot.

Saturday evening includes T-1 slots: T-1 County runs 6:30p to 6:50p, and T-1 City runs 7:00p to 7:20p.

  • If you’re visiting someone housed in Segs 1–5 on Saturday, check the Saturday schedule for the Segs 1–5 time window (shown as 8:00a–8:20a on the county page).
  1. Confirm the day you’re using (Tuesday or Saturday) - both days are listed on the county schedule page, so start by choosing the day you can make it.
  2. Find the housing unit label - look for your loved one’s unit (for example, Segs, S-units, W-units, M-units, E-units, or T-1) and match it to the posted time.
  3. Write down the 20-minute window - the schedule is organized in short blocks, so plan around that specific start and end time.
  4. Build in extra time - give yourself enough cushion to arrive, park, and get checked in before the window begins.
  5. Verify before you leave - use the official Young County Jail schedule as your final check in case anything has changed.

Verify before you go: The county’s posted schedule is the authority - check it again close to your visit day for updates or changes.
