Why Your Mail Gets Scanned at Pasco County Jail (And What You Can't Send)
If your letter didn't arrive the way you expected, you're not alone. Pasco County Corrections uses a digital mail scanning process — and the address you use (plus what's inside the envelope) determines whether it gets scanned and delivered.
Pasco County Corrections uses ICSolutions to scan all incoming inmate mail. That's why your letters don't go directly to the jail - they're routed through the scanning process first. The facility doesn't accept regular personal mail at its street address.
For ordinary personal mail that needs scanning, send it to the ICSolutions P.O. Box: P.O. Box 17339, San Antonio, TX 78227. Using the jail's street address for personal mail can cause delays - or keep your letter from being processed at all.
Some items skip the digital scanning process entirely and must go directly to the facility. This includes privileged/legal mail and government-issued checks. Send these to: Pasco Corrections, 20101 Central Blvd, Land O' Lakes, FL 34637. Include the inmate's name and ID number on the envelope so staff can route it correctly.

Watch out: Greeting cards with die-cuts or pop-out designs won't scan. Same goes for anything with glitter or sparkles. Staples and paperclips are also off-limits.
Once your mail is uploaded into the digital system, Pasco County Corrections destroys the physical originals. The stated timeline is 60 days after upload - so don't expect the paper copy to stick around.
