How to find and contact the jail office

Use official county sources for phone numbers and office details, and call before you drive. County offices close on posted holidays, and some counties publish a list of legal holidays observed by county employees. Marshall County, for example, notes courthouse and county building closures on listed holidays.

County jail pages often publish direct phone contacts. Woodward County Jail lists a phone number of 580-256-3264, ext. 2. Some jail-related questions get routed to specific staff. Carter County's guidance says questions about mail policies should go to the jail administrator.

If you need to correct information on an official Oklahoma Department of Corrections registry page, the registry provides an email contact (osor@doc.state.ok.us) and asks you to send the incorrect information or a brief note. For vendors and programs connected to incarceration, look for published customer support contacts on the official program page. Access Catalog lists a customer service support number (1-800-546-6283). When confirming anything by phone, have the facility's official address format in front of you. Washita County Jail spells out that mail should be addressed using the inmate's full name (including middle name) and the facility address.
