How to add money to an inmate’s account and manage commissary orders

For SCDC trust/commissary deposits by mail, money orders must be payable to "GTL Financial Services" and mailed with the deposit form. The maximum money order amount is $300 (in U.S. dollars). The mailing address for deposits is: GTL Financial Services, 10005 Technology Blvd West Suite 130, Dallas, TX 75220.

If you use ConnectNetwork/GTL automated deposit options, deposits and payments made through automated channels are transmitted to the facility within one business day. Mailed deposits are generally processed the next business day after GTL receives them. For refunds, SCDC's GTL refund form states refunds are mailed within 2 to 4 weeks after GTL receives the request. If you haven't received your refund within 30 days, call customer service at 1-866-640-5445 (Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern).

County detention centers often have their own commissary or "canteen" process. Laurens County Detention Center uses McDaniel Supply for canteen accounts. You can reach McDaniel Supply at 912-427-9022. Canteen is delivered twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays), so timing matters if you want funds available before an order is filled.
