How to Request Incident and Crash Reports from Allen County Sheriff's Office

Before you reach out, gather the basics the Records Bureau needs to find your file. Start with the date and time of the incident or crash, plus the location. If you have a report number, include that too. It speeds things up considerably.

Email is the easiest way to submit your request. Send it to records@acso-oh.us with the key details: date/time, location, and the report number if you have it.

Prefer to handle things in person? The Records Bureau is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

You can pick up reports in person at the Allen County Sheriff's Office Records Bureau. Hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Hard copies cost $0.04 per page, whether you pick them up, have them mailed, or faxed. For mailed copies, you'll need to prepay postage.

• ✓ Mailed or faxed copies: $0.04 per page, and postage must be prepaid

Photographs associated with your report are available too. You can get them emailed for free, or on a CD for $10.
