How to Address Mail to Someone at Red Rock Correctional Center (After Dec 15, 2025): what to send where

After December 15, 2025, personal mail for someone at Red Rock Correctional Center no longer goes directly to the prison. Instead, it's sent to a centralized Digital Processing Center for scanning. Packages and publications have their own Arizona address starting January 7, 2026.

For Red Rock Correctional Center, you'll choose between two centralized addresses depending on what you're sending. Starting December 15, 2025, personal mail (letters, greeting cards, and photos) must go to the Digital Processing Center at PO Box 211309, Dallas, TX 75211. Everything gets scanned and delivered digitally. Packages and publications work differently. Beginning January 7, 2026, send those to ADCRR's centralized Arizona address: 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Legal mail is the exception. It should still be addressed to the person at their assigned unit.

Key dates: Personal mail switches to the Dallas Digital Processing Center on December 15, 2025. ADCRR is allowing a grace period through January 15, 2026 for some misaddressed personal mail. Packages and publications switch to the Phoenix centralized address on January 7, 2026.

  1. Use the incarcerated person’s full name and ADCRR number - Put their full first and last name plus their ADCRR number on the recipient line.
  2. Add the location details ADCRR expects - Include the prison complex and the assigned unit in the address so the processing center can route it correctly.
  3. Address the envelope to the Digital Processing Center - Beginning December 15, 2025, send personal mail to: PO Box 211309, Dallas, TX 75211.
  4. Stick to items that are accepted for scanning - Send only letters (written correspondence), greeting cards, drawings, and photos.

The digital mail platform only accepts certain items for scanning: letters, greeting cards, drawings, and photos. If what you're sending doesn't fit those categories, it needs to go through a different channel (packages/publications or legal mail).

  • Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want the original physical mail returned after it is scanned.

Packages and publications don't go through the scanned mail system. Starting January 7, 2026, send these to ADCRR's centralized Arizona address: 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034. If you accidentally send a package or publication to the digital processing PO Box (meant for letters and photos), it won't be handled correctly.

Legal mail follows different rules. As of 12/05/25, ADCRR's guidance is that legal mail should continue going to the incarcerated person at their assigned unit. No changes to legal mail addressing are listed in the centralized-processing chart.

ADCRR built in a one-month transition window to help families adjust. From December 15, 2025 through January 15, 2026, if you accidentally send personal mail to a prison complex instead of the Digital Processing Center, ADCRR says they'll still process and deliver it. After January 15, 2026, misaddressed personal mail will be returned to sender.

Most people won't need Red Rock's street address for personal mail after December 15, 2025, since that mail goes to the Dallas PO Box. But if you're looking up the facility address for older paperwork, pre-transition mail, or special situations, be aware of a discrepancy. The facility page lists 1750 E Arica Rd, Eloy, AZ 85131, while ADCRR's contracted private prisons mailing list shows 1752 E. Arica Road, Eloy, AZ 85131. Verify the correct address before mailing anything to the facility. You can call Red Rock's main number at (520) 464-3800 to confirm.

  • Compare the address shown on Red Rock’s facility page (1750 E Arica Rd, Eloy, AZ 85131) with the address shown on ADCRR’s contracted private prisons mailing list (1752 E. Arica Road, Eloy, AZ 85131).
  • If you must mail to the facility street address, call Red Rock’s main number, (520) 464-3800, to verify which street number you should use.
