How to Apply for Visitation at ASPC–Red Rock: a step-by-step checklist
Getting approved to visit at ASPC–Red Rock comes down to timing and follow-through. Submit the electronic application, pay the required fee online, and get your supporting documents in before the deadline.
To visit someone at ASPC–Red Rock, you'll need to submit the Application to Visit an Inmate electronically. This same application covers phone calls too - so even if you only want the person in custody to be able to call you, you still need to complete it.
Don’t apply during intake: Do not submit the application while the inmate is in the intake process at Alhambra or Perryville. Wait until intake is complete so your application can be handled correctly.
Before you hit submit, double-check everything: spellings, numbers, contact details. Small typos can cause big delays, especially if your information doesn't match what's already in the system.
ADCRR expects every field to be filled out. Read through each page like you're proofreading someone else's form - blank fields can stall your application. You're also attesting that everything you enter is truthful and accurate.
Most adult visitors applying for in-person, phone, or video visits must pay a one-time $25 background check fee. It's non-refundable, so plan for that cost upfront to keep your application moving.
Payment tip: All payments must be made electronically, and you’ll need your Application Visitor ID number when you submit the payment.
Don't let the paperwork drag out after you apply. Any background check fee and required supporting documents must be received within 30 days of your application date. Miss that window, and your application won't be processed.
Once your payment (if applicable) and documents are in, be patient. ADCRR asks applicants to allow up to 60 days for processing.
Heads up: During ADCRR’s system change, delays in processing visitation applications can happen. If things are moving slower than usual, this may be why.
If Application Stuck Next Steps

- Confirm what was received - make sure any required supporting documents (and any applicable fee) were received within 30 days.
- Fix missing items quickly - if something was missed, resubmit the required supporting documents as soon as you can so the application isn’t left incomplete.
