Where to Send Mail to Rincon Unit (addresses & what to send where, 2026)

To send mail directly to Rincon Unit, include the incarcerated person's name and ADC number, then the unit's P.O. Box. Format it like this: Inmate Name and ADC #, P.O. Box 24403, Tucson, AZ 85734.

As of December 15, 2025, ADCRR routes most incoming personal mail through a digital platform. Physical letters no longer go straight to the prison. Instead, they're sorted and scanned at a processing center, then uploaded so the person in custody can view them on their secure tablet.

For someone at Rincon Unit, personal mail from family, friends, and businesses should go to the Digital Processing Center starting December 15, 2025. Send it to: PO Box 211309, Dallas, TX 75211.

Not everything goes through digital processing. Legal mail, parcels, publications, and official government mail are excluded - each follows its own routing instructions.

Packages and publications don't follow the same path as personal letters. Starting January 7, 2026, send them to the centralized Phoenix address: 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

ADCRR set up a short grace period to help families adjust. Between December 15, 2025 and January 15, 2026, personal mail accidentally sent to prison complexes will still be processed and delivered. After January 15, 2026, mail sent to the wrong address gets returned to sender.

2. Send packages and publications to Phoenix starting Jan. 7, 2026 - Use 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034.
3. Keep packages out of the digital mail stream - Packages cannot be sent to the Digital Processing Center; they must go to the centralized Phoenix address.
