Applying for Visitation at Cibola Unit: Fees, Timelines, and What to Expect

Adults applying to visit someone at Cibola Unit - whether in person, by phone, or video - must pay a one-time, non-refundable $25 background check fee. One exception: if you're only applying to receive phone calls (not visits), you skip the $25 fee. You'll still need to complete the standard application for phone privileges, though.

Timing is tight. Your background check fee (if required) and any supporting documents must arrive within 30 days of your application date. Miss that window, and your application won't be processed - it's considered incomplete. Payment must be made electronically. Cibola doesn't accept in-person or mailed payments for visitation fees.

After Cibola receives your payment (if applicable) and documentation, expect up to 60 days for processing. If you're planning travel or time off work, factor that window into your schedule.
