You can start digital messaging with someone at Bayou Dorcheat through City Tele Coin. Messages carry fees, and you may also need to fund a monthly tablet rental.
Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center uses City Tele Coin for digital text and email messaging, as well as phone and video calling. To get started with digital messaging, go to City Tele Coin and sign up.
Sending and receiving messages carries a fee. You may also need to provide funds for your loved one to rent a tablet for a monthly fee. Tablet rental is a possible additional expense.
Bayou Dorcheat offers City Tele Coin tablets that can be rented or used on a monthly basis. They support fee-based text and picture messaging but are not directly connected to the internet. To start a tablet rental, register with City Tele Coin. Chrome or Firefox is recommended.
You are charged for a full month of tablet rental even if the tablet is used for only part of that month.
There are no activation or early termination fees for the tablet rental. Your loved one receives the tablet three to five business days after you pay.
