How to Schedule a Visit at Bell County Camp (Email Instructions)
Bell County Camp handles visit scheduling by email. Follow the timing rules, watch for your confirmation, and you're set.
Send your visitation request to bcfc.visitation@ky.gov at least 7 days before your planned visit. The facility won't accept last-minute requests, so plan ahead. Once you've emailed, watch your inbox for a confirmation with your scheduled date and time.
Visits happen on weekends only - Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
- ✓ 9:00 am–11:00 am
- ✓ 12:00 pm–2:00 pm
Your confirmation will assign you to a two-hour session. For the 9:00 am–11:00 am block, arrive at 8:45 am. For the 12:00 pm–2:00 pm block, get there by 11:45 am. That extra time covers processing and screening before your visit begins.
- Send your request at least 7 days ahead - Bell County Camp requires visitation requests to be submitted 7 days in advance.
- Watch for the confirmation email - after you send your request, monitor your email for confirmation that you’ve been scheduled.
- Check the confirmed date and time - use the confirmation message as your reference for the visitation date and the two-hour session you’ve been assigned.
What to Include Request
- ✓ The weekend date you’re requesting
- ✓ Which two-hour session you prefer (9:00 am–11:00 am or 12:00 pm–2:00 pm)
- ✓ The email address you want the confirmation sent to
- ✓ A clear subject line like “Visitation request”
- ✓ A short note that you’ll monitor email for the scheduling confirmation (the facility does not provide a required template on its visitation page)
No confirmation? Check your spam and junk folders first. Give it a reasonable amount of time, then resend your request to bcfc.visitation@ky.gov if you still haven't heard back.
