The sheriff's office lobby has a kiosk where you can deposit money in person. It's the quickest option if you're nearby.

  • Cash (five-dollar bills or higher)
  • Debit and/or credit cards

Bring a valid ID - a driver's license or state ID card works. The jail requires it for kiosk deposits.

You can also mail a money order. Make it payable to the inmate - otherwise it won't be accepted.

Prefer to handle it online? Access Corrections lets you deposit electronically without visiting the lobby or mailing anything.

Commissary runs twice a week at Belmont County Jail: Tuesdays and Fridays. The cutoffs below determine whether your deposit counts in time.

For Tuesday commissary, the money must be on the account by Monday at 7:00 A.M. Anything deposited after that cutoff may not count until Friday.

For Friday commissary, the deadline is Thursday at 7:00 A.M. Miss that window and the funds roll to the next cycle.
