How to send digital messages and photos to someone at Bingham County Jail
Use the GettingOut workflow described by Jail Exchange to set up your account and submit digital messages or photos to someone at Bingham County Jail. A photo must be submitted for sharing and approved before it is shared with your loved one.
Jail Exchange identifies GTL GettingOut as the secure messaging and photo service for Bingham County Jail, listed as Bingham County Detention Center in its workflow. Start by setting up the account and contact you will use for both messages and digital photos.
- Register for a GettingOut account, or sign in if you already have one.
- Use the Facility Finder to select Bingham County Detention Center.
- Add your loved one to your contact list.
- Add a credit or debit card to cover your costs.
Messages can contain up to 500 characters, including punctuation. The character countdown at the bottom of the message helps you track that limit. You can also attach credits so your loved one can reply, but that is optional.
- Compose your message.
- Select CONTINUE and review the displayed cost to send it.
- Attach reply credits if you choose.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions, then select SEND to complete your message submission.
For digital photos, uploading a file is not the final sharing action. The workflow includes selecting the recipient and submitting the photo for sharing; once approved, it is shared with the selected recipient or recipients.
- Open the Photos tab.
- Choose Take New Photo or Upload New Photo.
- Take a photo with your webcam, or select Choose File to upload one from your computer.
- Give the photo a title or add it to a gallery of your choice.
- Select Share.
- Select the intended recipient or recipients, then select Share again.
